His bows had specific sacred names

While his Sudarshana Chakra is famous, Krishna was an exceptional archer who wielded two distinct heavenly bows—Sarnga (made from horn) and Kaumodaki (his celestial mace).

In the Mahabharata, his bow Sarnga was considered equivalent in power to Arjuna's Gandiva.

He fought Shiva in a full-scale cosmic war

During the battle of Shonitapura to rescue his grandson Aniruddha from Banasura, Lord Shiva entered the battlefield to protect Banasura.

Krishna used the Jambhanastra (a mystical weapon that induces deep slumber) to put Shiva into a trance, allowing him to defeat Banasura without harming Shiva.
